From the vineyard to the grappa distillery
The variety is primarily at home in Northern Italy. Piedmont is considered the classic home of Moscato d'Asti – a lightly sparkling, fruit-sweet wine with low alcohol that pairs wonderfully with desserts or simply on its own. But Moscato doesn't end with wine: the aromatic grape is excellently suited as a base for Grappa, which then carries the typical floral quality of the variety in a concentrated form.
