Moscato d'Asti Monteolivo fruity sweet
The Moscato d'Asti Monteolivo from Bersano is a light, sparkling sweet wine from Piedmont — with just 5.5% ABV, it is the ideal way to end an evening or accompany desserts.
Bersano is one of Piedmont's traditional wineries, rooted in the Asti region, where Moscato Bianco grapes develop their aromatic purity on calcareous soils. The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. Natural fermentation takes place in an autoclave at a controlled temperature of 16–17 °C, thus fully preserving the delicate aromas of the Muscat grape.
In the glass, an intense bouquet of orange blossom, acacia blossom, and honey unfolds, complemented by delicate notes of brioche and white peach. The palate is light, with fine bubbles and natural sweetness balanced by a refreshing acidity. The finish is short and clean, without any heaviness.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 6–8 °C. Pairs well with almond pastries, cantuccini, panna cotta, or fresh strawberries. Also a good choice as an aperitivo accompaniment to light cheese bites or macarons.
