These are the bottles that make us pause for a moment: classified growths from Bordeaux, the great names of Tuscany, prestige Champagnes, Barolo, Rioja, and Ribera del Duero.

Every wine in this selection has an origin that you can rediscover in the glass, and an aging potential that extends far beyond the next evening. We only carry many of these in small quantities.

And you are right: these wines are stored in our humidor — dark, at a constant temperature, and with controlled humidity so that the corks do not dry out. In the end, a great bottle is only as good as the years it spent before being opened.
