Chateau Lagrange

Haut-Médoc from Lagrange — a wine that combines the classic elegance of the Médoc with solid craftsmanship, without requiring the budget of a Grand Cru.

Château Lagrange lies in the heart of the Médoc and cultivates 113 hectares in the Saint-Julien appellation. The estate is among the region's most prestigious: classified as a Troisième Grand Cru Classé in 1855, the name Lagrange represents Bordeaux winemaking tradition at its finest. This Haut-Médoc is the accessible entry point into the Lagrange universe—vinified according to the same standards as its more famous sibling, but with an earlier drinking window.

In the glass, it displays the typical profile of the left bank: dark blackberry and cassis, underpinned by cedarwood and a hint of graphite. The tannins are well-structured, the finish medium-long with a pleasant spiciness. A straightforward, reliable Médoc character.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with herb-crusted lamb loin, entrecôte, or aged Cantal. Ready to drink now, but will keep until 2027.

Chateau Lagrange

Château Lagrange lies in the heart of Saint-Julien – one of Bordeaux's most captivating appellations. Here, on the left bank of the Gironde, between Margaux and Pauillac, grapes thrive in ancient gravelly soil that retains heat, providing the vines with precisely the stress they require. Since the famous classification of 1855 under Napoleon III, Lagrange has been listed as a 3ème Grand Cru Classé – and the vineyards remain the same today. This is no small feat; it is a commitment to the land. Forests, parks, and a lake surround the château – a verdant world that lends the estate its unique rhythm. What you find in the glass reflects this perfectly: depth, elegance, and a tranquility rarely encountered.
