Chateau Lagrange

Haut-Médoc from the house of Lagrange — a wine that combines the classic elegance of the Médoc with solid craftsmanship, without demanding the budget of a Grand Cru.

Château Lagrange is located in the heart of the Médoc and manages 113 hectares in the Saint-Julien appellation. The estate is one of the most renowned addresses in the region: classified as a Troisième Grand Cru Classé in 1855, the name Lagrange stands for Bordeaux winemaking tradition at the highest level. This Haut-Médoc is the accessible entry into the Lagrange universe — vinified according to the same standards as its big brother.

In the glass, it shows the typical profile of the Left Bank: dark blackberry and cassis, underpinned by cedar wood and a hint of graphite. The tannins are well-structured, the finish medium-long with a pleasant spice. A straightforward, reliable Médoc character.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with rack of lamb with a herb crust, entrecôte, or aged Cantal.
