Champagne Dom Ruinart Rosé

Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 is the prestige cuvée of the oldest still-active Champagne house—founded in Reims in 1729. The blend comprises 85% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, complemented by 15% Pinot Noir as a red wine addition. This results in the characteristic balance: a creamy brioche texture, aromas of red currant, raspberry, and white peach, supported by the typical Chardonnay minerality and fresh acidity. The finish is long and spicy, with a subtle floral note.

Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Pairs well with lobster, scallops with saffron sauce or a mature Brie de Meaux — equally strong as a standalone aperitif for special occasions.

The Champagne House

Champagne Ruinart

Champagne Ruinart from Reims is the oldest champagne house in the world – founded on September 1, 1729, less than three years after the edict of Louis XV, which first made the shipping of wine in bottles possible.

Behind the house is a family vision that reaches back to Dom Thierry Ruinart, a Benedictine monk and confidant of Dom Pérignon, who brought the knowledge of sparkling wine into the family.

What distinguishes Ruinart to this day is a consistent passion for Chardonnay: it shapes every single champagne of the house and gives it that freshness, elegance, and mineral depth for which Ruinart is valued worldwide. Since 1987, the house has belonged to LVMH – and has remained deliberately small and fine with around 150,000 cases annually.
