Pouilly Fumé Baron de L De Ladoucette
The Pouilly Fumé Baron de L De Ladoucette is located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation in the district of Tracy sur Loire. This specific location is called Fontenille.
Today, the plots cover 16 hectares and are planted exclusively in the southwest on clay and limestone soils. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are between 15 and 25 years old.
All soils are maintained with strict care. The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by a strict selection on the tables before they find their way into the winery.
Tasting
Delicate scents of white flowers, dominated by citrus fruits and English sweets.
Pairs best with seafood, fish, or white meat. A "Crottin" goat cheese is the most perfect liaison.
Can be enjoyed without problems 4 to 5 years after bottling.

The Domaine
Domaine de Fontenille – Pouilly-Fumé born of passion. In 1982, Patrick Maudry gave up his agricultural work to realize his dream: wine. He started with 80 ares of Pouilly-Fumé; today, the estate covers 16 hectares in the heart of the appellation, in the Fontenille district.
The vineyards are located in the southwest, on clay and limestone soils. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are between 15 and 25 years old. Modern technology meets craftsmanship: pneumatic presses, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks – and since 2009, his son David has been on board.
Pouilly-Fumé as it should be: pure, precise, full of character.
