I Tratturi Rosato Salento

An uncomplicated Rosé from Salento – the sun-drenched heel of the Italian boot. In the glass, it glows salmon-colored, and the nose reveals fresh strawberry and raspberry.

Feudi di San Marzano is one of the best-known cooperatives in Apulia. For decades, the winery has bundled the work of small family farms around San Marzano di San Giuseppe and vinifies the autochthonous grape varieties of the region – including Primitivo and Negroamaro – with a clear focus on accessible, honest wines.

The I Tratturi Rosato is based on the red lead grape varieties of Salento. In the nose, red berries dominate – strawberry, raspberry, a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, it is fresh and light, with lively acidity and a short, fruit-forward finish. No wood, no heaviness – exactly what a summer rosé should be.

Feudi di San Marzano

What nineteen winegrower families from San Marzano di San Giuseppe sealed with a handshake in 1962 is today one of the most famous names in Apulia: Feudi di San Marzano.

Around 1,500 winemakers jointly cultivate more than 1,200 hectares of vines in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria DOP, many of them still in the old Alberello system – the bush-trained vines that have given Salento its face for generations.

The red limestone soil, the sun, and the sea breeze between the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea shape wines that are powerful yet precise. Every grape is harvested by hand; chemical fertilizers are left out.
