Matthias Gaul Le Rosé
Matthias Gaul Le Rosé — a rosé that doesn't need any fuss to impress. Anyone familiar with the Southern Palatinate knows: Here, wine grows that embodies joie de vivre in the truest sense. Matthias Gaul captures exactly that in the bottle.
Le Rosé is produced through short maceration and gentle pressing—two steps that make all the difference. The result is a delicate, salmon-colored wine that makes you want to take the first sip even before you've tasted it. Dry, vibrantly fresh, with an aromatic richness more reminiscent of a summer afternoon than a bottle of wine. The structure is elegant without being stiff—a wine that doesn't demand attention but also doesn't fade into the background.
It is best enjoyed well chilled between 10 and 12 °C : on the terrace, as an aperitif, with a plate of grilled vegetables, goat cheese, or Mediterranean snacks. Drinking it neat is also perfectly acceptable.
