Feudi di San Marzano is a modern cooperative winery at the very tip of the Apulian heel, not far from the town of San Marzano. The region looks back on over 2,000 years of viticultural history — the Primitivo grows here on clay soils at an altitude of just under 100 meters, with high temperatures and little rain. The clay stores moisture throughout the dry summer months and releases it to the vines in a controlled manner: the result is concentrated, full-bodied wines with a stable structure. The I Tratturi line was positioned as an accessible, budget-conscious collection within the winery — without sacrificing the character of the terroir.

In the glass, the Primitivo shows a dark ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, ripe plum, dark cherry, and a slightly spicy undertone of rosemary. On the palate, a powerful body, soft texture, vanilla on the finish — balanced and without sharp edges. A wine that needs no long preparation: open the bottle, pour, and enjoy.
