With this value pack, you bring a reliable companion into your home that shines with freshness when drunk young, but also remains exciting in the cellar over the coming years.

Cà dei Frati I Frati Lugana DOC – Cà dei Frati (Italy, Lombardy)
The Dal Cero family cultivates their vineyards on the characteristic calcareous-clay soils south of the Sirmione peninsula. This special terroir and the constant winds of Lake Garda ensure a slow ripening of the Turbiana grapes. The grape variety, genetically closely related to Trebbiano di Soave, develops enormous aromatic depth here. In the glass, the wine initially unfolds cool aromas of white spring blossoms, ripe apricot, and a hint of citrus zest. This fruit is underpinned by a fine almond note and a subtle, almost balsamic herbal tone. On the palate, it shows a remarkable structure: the texture is full-bodied and creamy, but is cut through by a precise, lively acidity that takes away any heaviness from the wine. The finish is long, characterized by a salty minerality, and leaves a clean mouthfeel. If you store one or two bottles from this package for a few years, you will notice how the primary fruit recedes. With increasing bottle aging, complex spice notes, hints of candied fruits, and a considerable depth develop, which proves the great aging potential of these Lake Garda sites.

Pairs well with: A classic risotto with zander or pike from the lake, grilled Lake Constance whitefish with herb butter, or a creamy pasta with fresh seafood. The acidity structure of the Turbiana also forms an excellent contrast to light poultry with lemon-caper sauce or a mild, semi-ripe goat cheese. Serve it best at a temperature of 10 to 12 °C in a medium-sized white wine glass.

These six bottles offer you not only an attractive
