Coteaux Varois en Provence Rosé

A rosé that leaves the cliché of the light Provence bottle behind: the Coteaux Varois lies in the cool hinterland of the Var, where continental nights give the wines more acidity and tension than the sun-drenched coastal sites.

The Domaine Mira Luna works on this terrain with Syrah, Cinsault, and Rolle – and thus brings a style into the bottle that is more structured than many rosés from Bandol or the Côte d'Azur.

In the glass, a pale salmon pink. The nose shows strawberry, white peach skin, and dried herbs – thyme, a hint of lavender. On the palate, fresh with lively acidity, medium body, and a dry, tight finish without residual sugar.

Serving recommendation: Served at 10–12 °C. Now at its peak. Pairs with grilled sea bass, ratatouille, goat cheese, or a tomato-basil salad. Also a safe choice as a summer aperitif.

Domaine Mira Luna

Mira Luna – the name sounds like night, moonlight, and the quiet rustling of the vineyards. Coming from France, this winery stands for wines that tell more than just their vintage. These are wines that you don't just drink, but that make you pause for a moment – as if you were actually looking over quiet rows of vines under a clear night sky.

What excites us about Mira Luna is the palpable signature behind every drop. Here, wine is not vinified for mass taste, but with a view to the place, the vine, and the moment. Every bottle seems like the result of a conscious decision rather than a compromise – characterized by patience in the vineyard and restraint in the cellar, so that in the end exactly what the landscape itself has to say ends up in the glass.

Let yourself be surprised by these wines – preferably with a good glass in your hand when the evening slowly gets cooler and there is time for the quiet tones. Mira Luna is not a wine for a quick sip in between, but for moments when you take the time to taste carefully.
