I Tratturi Sauvignon-Malvasia Bianco

A white wine from southern Italy that combines two contrasting grape varieties into a harmonious whole: the aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc meet the full structure of the native Malvasia Bianca.

Feudi di San Marzano is one of the most famous wineries in Apulia. The vineyards for I Tratturi lie almost 100 meters above sea level on deep clay soil – a subsoil that retains water and gives the vines stability during Apulia's dry, hot growing season.

In the glass, the wine displays a clear straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose offers ripe peach, passion fruit, and mandarin orange – the tropical notes come from the Sauvignon Blanc, the richness from the Malvasia. On the palate, it is fresh, with moderate acidity and an uncomplicated, fruit-driven finish.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled calamari, light pasta dishes with tomatoes and basil, or a summer antipasti platter. Drink now – not an aging wine, but a reliable everyday companion.

Feudi di San Marzano

What nineteen winegrowing families from San Marzano di San Giuseppe sealed with a handshake in 1962 is today one of the most renowned names in Apulia: Feudi di San Marzano. Around 1,500 winegrowers cultivate more than 1,200 hectares of vines together in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria DOP, many of them still using the traditional Alberello system – the bush-trained vines that have defined the character of Salento for generations. The red limestone soil, the sun, and the sea breezes between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas shape wines that are powerful yet precise. Every grape is harvested by hand, and chemical fertilizers are strictly avoided.
