Alpha Special Cuvee Chardonnay

A rich Chardonnay from the coastal climate of Chile – with tropical fruit, creamy texture and a lingering finish.

Montes is one of Chile's most influential wineries. Founded in 1988 in the Colchagua Valley, this estate has played a significant role in establishing Chilean wines as a serious international brand. The Alpha line is characterized by selective hand-harvesting, barrel fermentation, and meticulous aging – the Special Cuvée Chardonnay being the most substantial expression of the range.

On the nose, it displays ripe pineapple and white peach, along with an unexpected freshness from subtle artichoke notes, a result of the cool maritime influence of the coastal climate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and creamy, supported by a lively acidity that maintains balance. The finish is long and slightly mineral.
