Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon
The Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon benefits from beautiful fruit aromas of blackcurrant. A fine hint of chocolate and well-integrated tannins give this red wine fullness and complexity. An elegant Cabernet with excellent aging potential!
The Cabernet vines grow in the advantageous climate of the famous Apalta Valley, the best wine-growing region in Chile for red wines. After an intensive maceration period, the wine matures for 12 months in French barrique barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 second-fill, 1/3 third-fill). Only before bottling is the Cabernet rounded off with a small addition of Merlot.
