Montes Merlot Reserve
10% Cabernet Sauvignon was added to the Montes Reserve Merlot for rounding off, after which it matured for 6 months in American barriques. It has a fresh, fruity style with components of cherries and blackberries with a perfect balance of fruit and fine wood tones. That's how Chile tastes!
The grapes are hand-picked and destemmed. After an extended maceration period, the wine matured for 6 months in American oak. Only then is a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon added to the Merlot to slightly strengthen the acidity and tannin.
