Montes Alpha Syrah

The color of Montes Alpha Syrah is an elegant red with black and purple reflections. The aroma is delicately fragrant with black cherries, very ripe plums, and slightly smoky, sweet tobacco notes, promising elegance. The taste of Montes Alpha Syrah is very velvety, laced with fine spice notes, power, and subtle oak. The grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed. After extended maceration, the wine matured for 12 months in French oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine is only lightly filtered. James Suckling: 93 points for the 2021 vintage
