Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
A classic Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchagua Valley – straightforward, dark fruity and with the typical structure that has made Montes the country's most famous winery since the 1990s.
Founded in 1988, Montes is one of the pioneers of modern Chilean winemaking. The Reserve line comes from select vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, one of Chile's warmest wine-growing regions with ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon: Andean soils, cool Pacific nights, and a long autumn.
Deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, cassis, black cherry, and a hint of chocolate. On the palate, dark berries—blackberry and black cherry—dominate, with a subtle oak note in the background. The tannins are ripe and supportive without being overpowering. Merlot adds richness and fruitiness. The finish is smooth with a touch of spice.
Serving suggestion: Ready to drink now, but will keep until 2027. Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with grilled entrecôte, leg of lamb with rosemary, or strong hard cheeses like Manchego.
