Montes Chardonnay Reserve
The Montes Chardonnay is, so to speak, the base wine of Discover Wines. It possesses the typically fruity style of this grape variety with a juicy peach aroma. Through 6 months of storage in American oak barrels, it receives its balanced, subtle vanilla note without appearing overloaded or overly lush.
The grapes are destemmed and go directly into the press. The must ferments and matures for 6 months in American oak. Only 50% of the Chardonnay undergoes malolactic fermentation, so it remains better fresh and full-bodied. Before bottling, diatomaceous earth and sheet filtration take place.
