Kaiken Wines

Kaiken Wines was born in 2002 from a crossing – not just geographically, but also in terms of craftsmanship. The Chilean star winemaker Aurelio Montes took the step across the Andes and founded a winery in Mendoza that combines Argentine terroir with decades of experience from Chile. The name says it all: Kaiken are the Patagonian wild geese that regularly commute between both countries – a symbol for the knowledge transfer that takes place here every day.

The vineyards lie in the shadow of the Cordilleras, where dry summers, cool nights, and mineral-rich soils form the basis for structured, expressive wines. The range focuses on Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon – dense red wines with depth and length that benefit from the high altitude.
