Salenstein
Bodegas Salenstein – founded in 1995 by Meindert Pon, awarded "Argentinian Winery of the Year" as early as 2003. The winery in the Valle de Uco, about 100 kilometers south of Mendoza, is considered a pioneer of this wine region. They own 700 hectares of vineyards at altitudes between 900 and 1,700 meters, right at the foot of the Andes. Here, top quality is produced with meticulous care and considerable effort. Head winemaker José Galante, one of Argentina's most influential oenologists, knows the Valle de Uco like few others. A winery that impresses – in every respect.
