Salenstein Numina Gran Corte
The Salentoin Numina Gran Corte is an elegant Bordeaux blend of five grape varieties with an alluring aroma of ripe raspberries and complex spice. On the palate, flavors of black berries unfold, and the body impresses with its complexity and layered structure, complemented by soft, sweet tannins. Sixteen months of aging in French oak barrels lend this red wine a full structure, harmoniously integrated tannins, and great aging potential. Bodegas Salenstein – founded in 1995 by Meindert Pon, awarded "Argentinian Winery of the Year" as early as 2003. The winery in the Valle de Uco, about 100 kilometers south of Mendoza, is considered a pioneer of this wine region. They own 700 hectares of vineyards at altitudes between 900 and 1,700 meters, right at the foot of the Andes. Here, top quality is produced with meticulous care and considerable effort. Head winemaker José Galante, one of Argentina's most influential oenologists, knows the Valle de Uco like few others. A winery that impresses – in every respect.
