Salentein Barrel Selection Cabernet Sauvignon

Salentein Barrel Selection Cabernet Sauvignon
Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon from the Valle de Uco – grown at altitudes of 1,000 to 1,700 meters, where cool nights sharpen the aromas and stabilize the acidity.
Salenstein is one of Mendoza's most influential wineries: The Dutch-owned estate invested early in high-altitude vineyards in the Valle de Uco and utilizes modern cellar technologies. The Barrel Selection matures for twelve months in French oak barrels – enough time to integrate fruit and oak without overpowering the wine.
Deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, blackcurrant and plum, along with notes of cedar, black pepper, and a hint of vanilla from the barrel. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, velvety tannins, and a fresh acidity that lengthens the finish.
