Zolla Primitivo di Manduria

The Zolla Primitivo di Manduria, which regularly wins top awards, is an Italian red wine from Apulia. More precisely, from the heart of Salento, in Manduria. This region is renowned for producing the finest wines from the Primitivo grape. The oenologists Filippo Baccalaro and Teo d'Apolito of Vigneti del Salento are responsible for this Primitivo. They are among the top winemakers in Salento. With passionate dedication and meticulous attention to detail, they have created the perfect conditions for producing wines of the highest caliber. The result is a terroir-driven wine, perfectly suited for the international market, with body and richness. This Primitivo, made from the grape of the same name, presents itself in a ruby-red color with violet hues. The complex, slightly spicy bouquet is intense and dominated by a fruity aroma with notes of small red fruits (cherries and blackberries). Due to the short barrel aging, subtle roasted notes of caramel and toasted bread waft to the nose, followed by delicate hints of black tea. On the palate, this is a well-balanced and smooth wine, aromatically caressed by velvety tannins and a delicious interplay of fruit. The long, elegant finish is crowned with delicate cocoa nuances. How do I store the wine after opening?

Well sealed and cool, it keeps for two to three days after opening. A vacuum seal slows down oxidation. The 750 ml bottle is sealed with a cork.
