I Muri Bianco Puglia

A white wine from southern Italy that shows what Puglia has to offer beyond Primitivo and Negroamaro: warmth, richness and yet lightness.

Vigneti del Salento is among the producers who consistently capture the potential of the Salento peninsula in the bottle. This region in the heel of Italy benefits from long sunny days, a Mediterranean climate, and old vines—ideal conditions for aromatically ripe white wines with natural structure.

In the glass , I Muri Bianco displays a rich golden yellow hue. The nose opens with aromas of ripe mirabelle plum and apricot, underpinned by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is almost mellow—the acidity is fine and integrated, not sharp, but round and pleasing. The finish is subtly fruity with a delicately spicy aftertaste.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled octopus with lemon, creamy burrata, pasta with mussels, or light vegetable dishes. It also makes a great, uncomplicated companion for a summer evening.

Vineyards of Salento

Vigneti del Salento is an Italian winery located in the Apulia region. The prevailing climate facilitates grape development through temperature fluctuations between day and night and the proximity to the sea. Additionally, the intense heat partially dries the grapes, increasing their sugar content. All grapes are harvested by hand and processed into wine under the supervision of the winemakers. Vigneti del Salento cultivates grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Primitivo, and Merlot.
