Leyda Valley
Welcome to Leyda Valley, one of Chile's most exciting and coolest wine regions! Located just 15 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, west of Santiago, where morning coastal mists meet sun-drenched afternoons, wines are produced here that will delight you with their elegance and freshness.
The Leyda Valley is Chile's answer to European white wine regions. The cool sea breezes and morning coastal fog (Camanchaca) create ideal conditions for elegant Sauvignon Blancs with crisp minerality, refined Chardonnays, and aromatic Pinot Noirs. These wines reveal a completely different side of Chile – less opulent, but with impressive finesse and drinkability.
The barren, clay-rich soils and the cool coastal climate force the vines to ripen slowly, resulting in complex aromas and vibrant acidity. Many innovative winemakers have recognized the enormous potential of this young region and are committed to sustainable farming practices.
