Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon

The Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon benefits from beautiful blackcurrant fruit aromas. A delicate chocolate note and well-integrated tannins lend this red wine richness and complexity. An elegant Cabernet with excellent aging potential! The Cabernet vines grow in the favorable climate of the renowned Apalta Valley, Chile's premier wine-growing region for red wines. After intensive maceration, the wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 second-fill, 1/3 third-fill). Just before bottling, the Cabernet is blended with a small amount of Merlot. Wine Spectator: 90 points
