The Van Zeller Wine Collection stands for one of the oldest wine families in the Douro Valley — 15 generations who know the slate terroir of the UNESCO World Heritage site like almost no one else. What appears today as a modern label is rooted in a port wine tradition that dates back to the 18th century. Álvaro van Zeller continues this legacy as a winemaker without lingering in nostalgia.

The vineyards are located on steep slate terraces in the Douro DOC — sites that transform extreme temperatures, barren soil, and intense sun into concentration and structure. This results in red wines with depth and texture as well as port wines that combine classic elegance with contemporary expression. Sustainable cultivation methods ensure the preservation of this extraordinary landscape.

That Van Zeller also takes unexpected paths is shown by the collaboration with Iron Maiden: The "Darkest Red" is not a marketing gimmick, but a serious Douro red wine — born from the band's genuine enthusiasm for the region. Your event tickets now arrive via QR code

Ticket email with two links and a ticket with QR code, name and "Guest 1 of 2"

For our events, you will now receive a separate ticket for every seat — with a QR code, sent directly by email after purchase. At the entrance, simply show the code on your phone, and you are in.

  • One ticket per person. If you buy three tickets, you will receive three links — 'Guest 1 of 3' to 'Guest 3 of 3'. Each link is an individual ticket. If you are arriving separately, simply forward the links to your companions.
  • By email, once paid. The 'Your tickets' email arrives automatically after payment. You can also find your tickets at any time in your customer account under 'Events'.
  • Phone or paper. The QR code works just as well from a screen as it does printed out. On the ticket page, there is a 'Print / save as PDF' button for this purpose — including the date, time, and address.
  • Invited? If we have invited you as a guest, you will receive your ticket the same way after you have accepted. The ticket will then state 'As our guest · Free admission'.
  • At the entrance. We scan the code; each ticket is valid once. If you don't have your phone, the team at the entrance can also find you by your name — so you will get in regardless.
