How the rosé charts are created

At the beginning of each month, we calculate which rosé wines were our bestsellers in the previous month and compile them into a top 10 list. No paid placements, no editorial selection — the ranking is based solely on sales.

For each wine, you can see the change compared to the previous month, the number of months it has been in the chart, and its best previous ranking. You can use the month navigation to access past editions.

Our most seasonal ranking

Rosé is the wine type with the most distinct annual cycle: demand increases sharply in spring and summer and decreases in winter. This is exactly why it is worth looking back using the month navigation — the list looks different in February than it does in July, and you can clearly see which bottles hold their own throughout the season and which only had a short wave of popularity.

In the main wine chart, this gets lost because rosé competes there against white and red. A chart position is, by the way, not a quality rating, but an indication of what many others chose this month.

Search more specifically

The entire rosé assortment can be found under Rosé Wine. You can search by origin via France — Provence defines this category —, Italy, and Germany. If you would like to try several wines side by side, you will find ready-made sets in the Sample packs.

The other rankings

For the other colors, there are Monthly Red Wine Charts and Monthly White Wine Charts. Across all wine types, we calculate the weekly VinoCharts and the Monthly Wine Charts.
