Lergenmüller Traditions Herrenhaus Mulled Wine Rosé 1.0L

A classic rosé mulled wine from the Palatinate region – fruity and spicy, already spiced and ready to drink directly on the stove or fire bowl.

Lergenmüller is an established winery from Schweigen-Rechtenbach in the southern Palatinate, known for approachable, everyday Palatinate wines. Their traditional Herrenhaus Glühwein Rosé is a core offering for the winter season – a wine-based beverage that eliminates the need for adding your own spices.

In the glass, it shines with a clear rosé hue. The nose reveals aromas of raspberry and elderflower, underpinned by cinnamon, clove, and a hint of orange peel. Pleasantly sweet on the palate with mild acidity, the spices remain subtle and harmonious rather than overpowering.

  • Temperature: Heat to approximately 70–75 °C, do not boil – otherwise aromas and alcohol will evaporate.
  • Occasion: Christmas market at home, Advent evening, mulled wine gathering with friends
  • This goes well with: speculoos, roasted almonds, gingerbread or a piece of strudel
  • Contents: 1.0 liter – enough for two to three large cups

Lergenmüller

The German winery, headquartered in the Palatinate region, was founded in 1538 and is currently managed by Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With 195 hectares under vine, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually. The vines are cultivated at four different locations on soils of limestone, loess, and variegated sandstone, providing them with ample minerals. Controlled irrigation and the abundant sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth. Lergenmüller's portfolio includes white wines made from grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, as well as red wines from varieties like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and others.
