Wild Red dry 1.0L

An uncomplicated red wine for the uncomplicated moment — the Wilde Rote from Lergenmüller is the cuvée you always want to have with you.

Lergenmüller winery is located in the heart of the Palatinate, one of Germany's sunniest wine regions. The estate is known for approachable, everyday wines with a clear style profile — no experimentation, but reliable craftsmanship.

This blend combines Dornfelder and Portugieser grapes: the Dornfelder contributes dark color and fruit notes—blackberry, blackcurrant—while the Portugieser provides softness and drinkability. The result: low tannins, a rounded texture, and a short, mild finish. No rough edges.

  • Aromas: blackberry, ripe plum, a hint of sour cherry
  • Structure: soft body, low tannins, moderate acidity
  • Finish: short, fruity, pleasant

Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with pasta with tomato sauce, grilled sausages, pizzas, or simply enjoyed on the patio. The liter size also makes it ideal for larger gatherings, catering, or serving on tap—virtually without compromising on taste.

Lergenmüller

The German winery, headquartered in the Palatinate region, was founded in 1538 and is currently managed by Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With 195 hectares under vine, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually. The vines are cultivated at four different locations on soils of limestone, loess, and variegated sandstone, providing them with ample minerals. Controlled irrigation and the abundant sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth. Lergenmüller's portfolio includes white wines made from grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, as well as red wines from varieties like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and others.
