Lergenmüller Traditional Manor House Mulled Wine Red 1.0L

Mulled wine that doesn't smell like artificial cinnamon spray: Lergenmüller's traditional manor house mulled wine is based on an in-house family recipe that delivers the wine already spiced and ready to drink — simply heat it up, and you're done.

Lergenmüller is an established winery from the Palatinate region with long experience in producing approachable wines for the German market. The manor house represents the winery's classic approach: reliable quality and a clear focus on enjoyment without unnecessary fuss.

In the glass, it displays a warm ruby red color. The spice blend brings typical winter aromas: cinnamon, clove, and star anise, embedded in a red base wine with mild sweetness and minimal acidity. The finish remains soft and warming—neither too dry nor overly sweet.

  • Temperature: Heat to 70–75 °C, do not boil — this preserves aromas and alcohol
  • Occasion: Christmas market atmosphere at home, Advent evenings, guests standing
  • Goes well with: gingerbread, roasted almonds, cinnamon pastries or simply straight from the cup

Lergenmüller

The German winery, headquartered in the Palatinate region, was founded in 1538 and is currently managed by Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With 195 hectares under vine, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually. The vines are cultivated at four different locations on soils of limestone, loess, and variegated sandstone, providing them with ample minerals. Controlled irrigation and the abundant sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth. Lergenmüller's portfolio includes white wines made from grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, as well as red wines from varieties like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and others.
