Crazy Tropez Rose

Crazy Tropez Rose
A rosé for warm evenings without detours: fresh, clearly structured, with the typical lightness of the South of France summer.
Domaine Tropez works in the heart of Provence with the classic grape varieties of the region. The cuvée of 60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault follows the Provençal approach: short maceration time for the characteristic pale pink color with a salmon shimmer, targeted harvest for freshness rather than concentration. Grenache brings body and ripe fruit, Cinsault provides lightness and the floral note that makes this style so drinkable.
In the glass, aromas of white peach, grapefruit zest, and a hint of dried Provence herbs appear. The mouth is slender and clean – the texture flows without edges, the acidity is lively enough to enliven the palate without tightening it. No residual sugar clouds the dry, slightly spicy finish. A rosé that doesn't make you think too much – that is not a flaw here, but the program.

Domaine Tropez is a personal story: In 1996, at the age of 25, Grégoire Chaix took over his grandfather Tropez Beraud's vineyards on the Saint-Tropez peninsula – and named the winery as a tribute to him. On approximately 40 hectares, divided into about 40 individual parcels between Ramatuelle, Gassin, and La Croix Valmer, wines are produced that embody the best of the Côtes de Provence: Mediterranean warmth, proximity to the sea, and clay-limestone soils. Chaix cultivates without herbicides or chemical fertilizers, harvests the grapes by hand, and consistently uses screw caps to ensure the freshness of his wines. An independent winemaker with a distinct style.
