Hammel & Cie Sophie Helene Petit Rose dry

Hammel & Cie Sophie Helene Petit Rose dry
A rosé with a clear identity: fresh, juicy, dry — and with a personal connection that goes beyond marketing. Christoph Hammel named this wine after his daughter Sophie Helene.
The Hammel & Cie winery is one of the established names in the Palatinate region. Their cuvée of Cabernet and Dornfelder demonstrates the potential of this combination: the Cabernet provides structure and subtle herbal notes, while the Dornfelder contributes color and red fruit character.
In the glass, the wine shines a bright raspberry pink. The nose offers aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and pomegranate, along with a hint of fig and mint, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is juicy, with lively acidity and a clean, dry finish—no residual sugar to dampen its freshness.
Best served at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with grilled vegetables, goat cheese salad, salmon tartare, or light pasta dishes with tomatoes. Also a great choice on its own on the patio in summer.
