Hammel & Cie Literweise Cuvée white dry 1.0L

Hammel & Cie Literweise Cuvée white dry 1.0L
An uncomplicated white wine for everyday use: The cuvée of Rivaner and Silvaner comes into the glass fresh and easy to drink – without detours, without rough edges.
The Hammel & Cie winery from the Palatinate region is one of the most experienced producers in the area and uses two classic Palatinate grape varieties for this one-liter cuvée. Rivaner contributes lightness and fruitiness, while Silvaner gives the wine structure and a fine, spicy depth.
In the glass, aromas of apple and grapefruit emerge, complemented by a hint of gooseberry and ripe mirabelle plum. On the palate, the wine remains light and lively; the acidity is present but never harsh. The finish is short and clean.
Served at 8–10 °C, it's perfect for weekday lunches, with salads containing goat cheese, with tarte flambée, or simply as a refreshing drink after work. The liter size makes it a practical choice if you frequently open a glass.

Since 1723, the Hammel & Cie winery in Kirchheim an der Weinstraße has been one of the reliable addresses in the Palatinate – today, Christoph Hammel is already running the business in the ninth generation. You can feel almost three centuries of family tradition in every bottle: this is not about short-term trends, but about consistency that has grown over generations.
On 42 hectares around the historic village center of Kirchheim, Riesling, Burgundy varieties, Sauvignon Blanc, and now also Grüner Veltliner grow – and in one of the mildest climate regions in Germany. This special warmth, combined with the diverse soils of the Palatinate, gives the grapes a ripeness that you can taste in the end in the glass. In the vineyard, the family sticks to proven traditions; in the cellar, they consciously rely on the targeted use of steel and wood to give each grape variety exactly the framework it needs.
The result is wines with a clear signature and aromatic fruit that deliver exactly what the family itself formulates as its leitmotif: to bring joy. Whether for an uncomplicated evening or a special occasion – at Hammel & Cie you will find wines that combine tradition and Palatinate joie de vivre in a completely natural way.
