Pierpaolo Pecorari Rosè Rosalba Venezia Giulia

Pierpaolo Pecorari Rosè Rosalba Venezia Giulia
A rosé wine that doesn't hide behind pale summer wines: Pierpaolo Pecorari's Rosalba has substance, fruit and character.
Pecorari manages his vineyard in Venezia Giulia , the northeastern corner of Italy, where the Adriatic climate meets Alpine influences. The region is known for its intensely aromatic wines—and the Rosalba reflects this. The blend of Cabernet Franc, Refosco, and Merlot combines the spicy depth of the local Refosco grape with the fruitiness of Merlot and the elegant structure of Cabernet Franc.
The glass reveals ripe apricot and peach , underpinned by a delicate hint of honey. The palate is full-bodied for a rosé, with pleasant freshness and a clean, slightly fruity finish.
