Dreissigacker PNT & C. Rosé dry

Our estate wines grow in the vineyards around Bechtheim. The soils are characterized by calcareous marl and loess loam. The Pinot Noir and St. Laurent grapes were harvested in several stages according to ripeness and transported to the winery in standardized containers. To ensure optimal extraction of aromatic compounds, the berries were lightly crushed. For a delicate pink color, some of the grapes were pressed directly, while the remaining juice was drawn off from the red wine must. The juice fermented for approximately eight weeks with the grapes' own yeasts, converting the sugar into alcohol. After four months of lees aging, the PNT & C. was bottled in mid-March. The Dreissigacker PNT & C. Rosé displays a fine, herbal nose. Clear and delicately juicy on the palate; a compact body with a firm structure; soft, ripe character; notes of roasted onion with spice, pumpkin, and honeydew melon; a touch of creaminess, some depth, and a good finish.

Dreissigacker

The German winery Dreissigacker is located in Rheinhessen and was founded in 1728. The current owner is Jochen Dreissigacker, who has a total cultivation area of 28 hectares. This area is divided into several sites (including Bechtheimer Geyersberg and Bechtheimer Hasensprung) which consist of loess loam soils, calcareous marl soils, limestone, and clay soils.

The winery pays special attention to the cultivation and production of Riesling wines, which occupy more than half of the vineyards.

Other grape varieties grown are the Pinot varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot. Dreissigacker produces 180,000 bottles of wine annually. Eichelmann 2021 award "World Class Winery" *****
