Pinot Blanc quality wine dry "Einzigacker"

Pinot Blanc quality wine dry "Einzigacker"
The Einzigacker is Dreissigacker's answer to the question of what Pinot Blanc can achieve when given time and wood: a structured, serious white wine from the heart of Rheinhessen.
The Dreissigacker winery from Bechtheim cultivates its vineyards in the Palatinate and Rheinhessen with a consistently ecological approach. The Einzigacker – as the name suggests – grows on a single, characterful parcel. Aging in 500-liter oak barrels with lees aging gives the wine its depth without dominating it.
In the glass, it shows spicy roasted aromas, underscored by ripe pears and a hint of white pepper. The texture is creamy, the body taut – an invigorating acidity keeps everything in balance. The finish is long, slightly nutty, with a mineral aftertaste.
- Food: Veal schnitzel, risotto with Parmesan, grilled turbot, or strong goat cheese
- Temperature: 11–13 °C

The German winery Dreissigacker is located in Rheinhessen and was founded in 1728. The current owner is Jochen Dreissigacker, who manages a total vineyard area of 28 hectares. This area is divided among several vineyard sites (including Bechtheimer Geyersberg and Bechtheimer Hasensprung) consisting of loess loam, calcareous marl, limestone, and clay soils. The winery places particular emphasis on the cultivation and production of Riesling wines, which accounts for more than half of the vineyard area. Other grape varieties cultivated include the Burgundy varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Dreissigacker produces 180,000 bottles of wine annually. Eichelmann 2021 awarded it the title of "World-Class Winery" *****
