Dreissigacker Vintages white
Five vintages in one bottle — that's not a compromise, but a concept. The Dreissigacker Vintages white wine combines successive harvests into a single white wine that consciously balances vintage variations and instead focuses on consistency and depth.
The Dreissigacker winery in Bechtheim, Rheinhessen, is one of Germany's most impressive biodynamic wineries—Demeter-certified, consistently committed to biodynamic practices in both the cellar and the vineyard. Jochen Dreissigacker works with minimal intervention: spontaneous fermentation, gentle aging, and no technical corrections. The Vintages line is his plea for complexity beyond the single vintage—an idea long established in Champagne, but rare in still wine.
In the glass, this wine reveals ripe citrus fruit, a hint of dried apricot, and delicate mineral spice. The acidity is well-integrated, and the finish is long and slightly salty. The blending of vintages creates a complexity rarely achieved by a single wine in this price range.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C . Pairs well with pan-fried cod with caper butter, creamy risotto, or aged goat cheese. Also a good choice as a more substantial aperitif.
