Dreissigacker Weissburgunder dry
The Dreissigacker estate wines grow on the vineyard sites around Bechtheim. The soils are characterized by limestone marl and loess-loam.
The vinification
The Pinot Blanc grapes were harvested by hand in several steps according to ripeness. To ensure optimal leaching of the aromatic substances, the berries were lightly crushed and left to stand in their own juice for 18 hours. The juice fermented the sugar into alcohol over approx. 12 weeks with the grape's own yeasts.
The Dreissigacker Pinot Blanc possesses a ripe apple fruit with some melon. Clear, compact, juicy body with power and a creamy backbone; very firm structure with elegance, ripe style, very round and soft; complex on the palate with herbal, mineral apple fruit; good finish with length.

The Winery
The German winery Dreissigacker is located in Rheinhessen and was founded in 1728. The current owner is Jochen Dreissigacker, who has a total cultivation area of 28 hectares. This area is divided into several sites (including Bechtheimer Geyersberg and Bechtheimer Hasensprung) which consist of loess loam soils, calcareous marl soils, limestone, and clay soils.
The winery pays special attention to the cultivation and production of Riesling wines, which occupy more than half of the vineyards.
Other grape varieties grown are the Pinot varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot. Dreissigacker produces 180,000 bottles of wine annually. Eichelmann 2021 award "World Class Winery" *****
