Riesling
The Dreissigacker Riesling comes from the biodynamically cultivated vineyards around Bechtheim and Westhofen. The grapes are selectively hand-harvested to ensure the highest quality. During spontaneous fermentation, whole berries are deliberately fermented to give the Riesling exceptional depth and structure. The wine matures 90% in stainless steel tanks and 10% in double-barreled oak barrels. After fermentation, the Dreissigacker Riesling rests on the lees for six months and is then aged on the fine lees until bottling.

How does the Dreissigacker Riesling 2024 taste?
Dry, with a structure that goes beyond the typical entry-level Riesling. Spontaneous fermentation with whole berries and six months of aging on the full lees give it depth and a creamy textural undertone — despite all the freshness and precision that defines Rheinhessen Riesling.
What does the wine pair best with?
With fish, light poultry, veal dishes, or a fresh salad with vinaigrette. The lively acidity and dry finish make it a reliable companion at the table — also with Asian-spiced dishes with citrus notes.
At what temperature should I serve it?
Best at 10–12 °C. Served too cold, it loses structure and depth; served too warm, the acidity feels flat. Take it out of the fridge about 30 minutes before pouring.
Is this really a dry Riesling — or does it have residual sweetness?
It is vinified dry. Those who have only known Riesling as sweet or semi-dry will find a clear, dry line here — without the sharpness that makes some dry Rieslings strenuous.
What does biodynamic mean at Dreissigacker?
The vineyards around Bechtheim and Westhofen are managed biodynamically — this goes beyond organic certification and includes the renunciation of synthetic agents as well as a circular economy geared towards the vineyard. In the wine itself, this often shows in a distinct typicity of origin.
How do I store the wine after purchase?
Cool, dark, and lying down — ideally at 10–14 °C, protected from vibrations and direct light. Keep an opened bottle well sealed in the fridge and drink within two to three days.
The Winery
The German winery Dreissigacker is located in Rheinhessen and was founded in 1728. The current owner is Jochen Dreissigacker, who has a total cultivation area of 28 hectares. This area is divided into several sites (including Bechtheimer Geyersberg and Bechtheimer Hasensprung) which consist of loess loam soils, calcareous marl soils, limestone, and clay soils.
The winery pays special attention to the cultivation and production of Riesling wines, which occupy more than half of the vineyards.
Other grape varieties grown are the Pinot varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot. Dreissigacker produces 180,000 bottles of wine annually. Eichelmann 2021 award "World Class Winery" *****
