Dreissigacker Winery –
Rheinhessen since 1728
The Dreissigacker winery in Bechtheim is one of the most prestigious wineries in Rheinhessen . Family-owned since 1728, the estate is now managed by Jochen Dreissigacker and comprises 28 hectares of vineyards spread across sites such as the Bechtheimer Geyersberg and the Bechtheimer Hasensprung. The soils vary between loess loam, calcareous marl, limestone, and clay – a diversity that is directly reflected in the wines.
The heart of the winery is Riesling: more than half of the vineyards are dedicated to this variety. Alongside this, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay are also cultivated – all varieties that take on the distinctive character of Bechtheim on the mineral-rich soils. Around 180,000 bottles are produced annually, combining precision and origin in a clear style.
Eichelmann awarded Dreissigacker five stars and the "World Class" rating in 2021 – an assessment that reflects the consistent work done in both the vineyard and the cellar. Anyone wanting to experience Rheinhessen beyond mass-produced wines will find a reliable starting point here.
