Pine tree. With the clouds drift white wine cuvée dry
A cuvée that shows what the Kiefer winery from the Kaiserstuhl region of Baden can do: Rivaner, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc together in the glass – fresh, light, with a clear character.
The Kiefer winery in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl has been working with the volcanic soils of this exceptional vineyard for generations. The Kaiserstuhl is one of the warmest and sunniest regions in Germany – and it shows: ripe fruit, yet plenty of freshness thanks to the cool nights.
In the glass, the cuvée displays a pale yellow color with green reflections. The nose offers fresh apple aromas, a hint of green mint, and dry hay. The Sauvignon Blanc contributes a subtle herbal note, the Riesling provides structure and lively acidity, and the Rivaner adds a smooth texture and inviting approachability. On the palate, it is light-bodied with a clean, short finish.
Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Ready to drink – drink now, do not store.
Goes well with: pasta with herb cream sauce, tarte flambée, salads with mango or peach, grilled vegetables. Also a simple and enjoyable accompaniment on its own on the patio.
