Pine The joy of sharing red wine blend sweet

A delightful red wine blend that combines depth and approachability with eight grape varieties — dark berry fruit meets velvety texture.

The Kiefer winery from Baden focuses equally on old and new grape varieties. This cuvée brings together what rarely ends up together in a glass: Prior, Dakapo, Dornfelder, Cabernet Mitos, Cabernet Noir, Regent, Pinotin and Frühburgunder — an ensemble designed above all for fruitiness and softness.

In the glass, it displays a deep, dark red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by a spicy note with a hint of tobacco. On the palate, rounded, ripe tannins; the wine's sweetness carries it smoothly through the finish—no harshness, no rough edges.

Serving temperature: 14–16 °C . Pairs well with strong cheeses like Gouda or mountain cheese, grilled sausages, or a hearty lentil stew. Also a great accompaniment to a cheese platter at dinner with friends—the name says it all.

The Friedrich Kiefer winery in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl looks back on a history that began in 1851 – founded by a teacher from the Markgräflerland region who passionately dedicated himself to what was then a completely new endeavor. Since 2008, the winery has been run by Helene, a certified oenologist, and Martin, a certified engineer, who cultivates over 100 hectares of vines on the characteristic volcanic weathering rock and loess of the Kaiserstuhl region, together with long-standing partner winegrowers. Their motto is "Wine / Style / Performance" – and this is reflected both in their meticulously crafted wines and in labels that inspire enjoyment rather than mere show.
