Kiefer Weissburgunder Freche Kaiserstuhler feinherb
A Pinot Blanc from the Kaiserstuhl region that shows its off-dry style without any detours: fresh, lively, with a clear sweet-acid balance.
The Kiefer winery is located in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl – one of Germany's warmest wine regions, characterized by volcanic soils and long hours of sunshine. This climate gives the Pinot Blanc its ripe fruit, while the cool nights preserve its acidity.
In the glass, it displays a pale yellow-green color. The nose offers aromas of pear, green apple, and a hint of white peach. On the palate, it is juicy and direct – the residual sweetness is noticeable but tightly integrated, preventing any impression of heaviness. The finish is fresh and short, with a fruity note.
- Food: Asian cuisine with a hint of sweetness (Pad Thai, Vietnamese spring rolls), goat cheese, tarte flambée with crème fraîche
- Temperature: 8–10 °C
- Occasion: Relaxed summer evening, aperitif, barbecue with light dishes
