Beaune Bressandes 1er Cru, Blanc, Famille Gagey

Beaune Bressandes 1er Cru, Blanc, Famille Gagey
White Burgundy from one of Beaune's most prestigious vineyards — the Bressandes are located on the upper slopes of the 1er Cru belt, where the Chardonnay develops more freshness and minerality than in the warmer mid-slope areas.
Louis Jadot is one of the most renowned winegrowers in the Côte d'Or. The Gagey family has run the estate for generations, focusing on terroir-driven vinification: classic aging in wooden barrels, careful blending, and extended cellaring before shipping.
In the glass, this Blanc displays a silky texture more commonly associated with a Meursault—white peach, ripe pear, and a hint of brioche from barrel aging. The acidity remains present and supports the wine without being harsh. The finish is long, delicately mineral, with a slightly saline note.
