Pommard
Pommard is considered the most powerful red wine of the Côte de Beaune—structured, rich in tannins, and with a depth that needs time to unfold. Louis Jadot, one of Burgundy's most prestigious négociant houses, brings precisely this character to the glass.
Since 1859, the Jadot estate has stood for a precise approach to Burgundian terroirs. For this Pommard, grapes from the appellation are vinified into a classically styled Pinot Noir — with the aim of clearly highlighting the village profile of Pommard: structure over opulence.
In the glass, it displays dark cherry, blackberry, and earth—underpinned by a hint of leather and dried herbs. The tannins are firm but not harsh; the acidity keeps the wine taut and gives it structure. The finish is long and spicy.
