Louis Jadot Brouilly AC

As is typical in Beaujolais, semi-carbonic maceration is used here, meaning a short, initial carbonic maceration takes place in closed tanks. Fermentation is completed in open wooden fermenters and lasts a total of 12-20 days. For carbonic maceration, the grapes must arrive whole and undamaged at the cellar. After fermentation, the wine matures for 8-10 months in oak barrels. Color: dark, vibrant red. Aroma: intense aroma of wild berries and violets. The Brouilly from Louis Jadot is juicy and lively on the palate with a fruity interplay of flavors and youthful, subtle tannins.
