Domaine Tariquet Premières Grives
A sweet wine from Gascony that takes its name from the thrushes: Premières Grives – the first migratory birds of late autumn – mark the beginning of the Spätlese harvest at the Tariquet estate. Gros Manseng is harvested together with other late-harvested regional grape varieties when the grapes are fully ripe and concentrated.
In the glass, it reveals tropical fruit – passion fruit, ripe mango, a hint of candied citrus peel – embedded in a lively freshness that keeps the sweetness in balance. Not a heavy dessert wine, but an elegant semi-sweet wine with a clear profile and a persistent finish.
Serve chilled at 8–10 °C as an aperitif, with blue cheese such as Roquefort, with foie gras terrine, or with fruity desserts featuring peach and apricot. Awarded a gold medal each at Mundus Vini and the Berliner Wein Trophy 2022.

The Domaine
Domaine Tariquet – a French winery in the southwest, between Toulouse and the Landes de Gascogne Nature Park. Founded in 1912 by Hélène and Pierre Grassa, it is managed today in the fifth generation. Over 1100 hectares of vineyard area, a changing climate with cool nights and fertile soils – ideal conditions for aromatic wines.
What makes Tariquet special? The courage to combine grape varieties that were previously considered incompatible – Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc, for example. Syrah, Merlot, Tannat – over 10 million bottles full of character are created here annually.
