Domaine Tariquet Reserve Blanc

Domaine Tariquet Réserve Blanc is the estate's historic second cuvée and represents greater depth and complexity than the classic Tariquet. The wine is created from a blend of four grape varieties: Gros Manseng (40%), Chardonnay (30%), Sauvignon Blanc (20%), and Sémillon (10%) , which are bottled after a year of aging in large wooden casks. This careful combination gives the wine a multifaceted, nuanced aromatic profile that clearly distinguishes it from the fresher wines of its Gascon counterparts.

The nose reveals an elegant, complex bouquet of yellow peach, mango, apricot, vanilla, and a subtle hint of toasty aromas , imparted by oak aging without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, the Réserve Blanc is round, smooth, and balanced, with a delicate richness, pleasant depth, and the vibrant freshness so typical of Tariquet. The finish is long, elegant, and carried by notes of ripe fruit and spice.

Awarded the Médaille d'Or by Gilbert & Gaillard, this wine impresses as a versatile accompaniment to poultry, fish with creamy sauce, veal, mild cheeses, or light pasta dishes. Served at around 10–12 °C , it unfolds its full potential and reveals itself as a sophisticated yet approachable Gascony white wine with great character.

Domaine Tariquet

Domaine Tariquet – a French winery in the southwest, between Toulouse and the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park. Founded in 1912 by Hélène and Pierre Grassa, it is now run by the fifth generation. Over 1,100 hectares of vineyards, a variable climate with cool nights, and fertile soils – ideal conditions for aromatic wines. What makes Tariquet special? The courage to combine grape varieties previously considered incompatible – Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc, for example. Syrah, Merlot, Tannat – over 10 million bottles full of character are produced here every year.
